Rescue boat

Fast rescue boats, built in accordance with current IMO regulations. All RO-RO Pax vessels are required to have fast rescue boats with a minimum length of 6m and a top speed of at least 20 knots. We can supply that fully comply with these requirements and all equipment has been approved in accordance with MSC 81(70). Outboard and inboard engines are available in various sizes. Free-fall davits |

The davit system is designed for safe and efficient launching and retrieval of the free-fall lifeboat series. The davit system is based on a hydraulically driven A-frame construction and a hydraulically driven winch. Both the winch and the cylinders are supplied with hydraulic energy from a common power pack. The simplicity of the system guarantees a safe and reliable operation and keeps the maintenance requirements to an absolute minimum. Delivered to latest Solas regulation and with certificates

Gravity davits |

This type davits are designed for efficient launching of a fully manned lifeboat from the stowed position to the water level by means of gravity. This type of davit grants an entirely free deck underneath the lifeboat as no wires are running on the deck. For launching and recovery purposes, the system is equipped with an electric winch, delivered with a built-in centrifugal brake, which limits the lowering speed. Delivered to latest Solas regulation and with Class certificates.

The davits in standard version are supplied with a hydraulic power unit and a hydraulically operated winch and jib system. The winch is equipped with an amply dimensioned <shock absorber> system to avoid overload of the davit system in rough operating conditions. The winch is also equipped with a fully hydraulic constant tension system. Delivered in accordance with MSC 81 (70). Delivered to latest Solas regulation and with Class certificates
